Outstanding O-Levels!

Since our most recent trip to Sri Lanka in February we have been receiving regular updates from the teachers at the Village School and last week we were delighted to hear that two students have done exceptionally well in their O-Level exams. The Sri Lankan O-Levels are based on the British O-level examinations and are taken at the age of 15-16. This is the first time that any of our students have achieved such impressive results, and it is thanks to everyone who has supported us over the years that we are able to help the students at the school make the most of their academic potential. Passing exams is really the only way that the children at the school can break free from the poverty cycle and have a better future. We are absolutely thrilled with the results and hope that the children continue to strive and achieve academic success.
